Psyllium Fibre Laxative Capsules

Directions: Adults and children over 12: Take 5 capsules with a least 240 ml (8oz) of liquid (swallow 1 capsule at a time) up to 3 times daily at the first sign of constipation. Drinking an additional glass of liquid is helpful. Generally produces bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours (3 days). Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. See caution.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains 525 mg Plantago ovata, psyllim husk (dried seed coat).
Non-medicinal Ingredients: Gelatin.

Caution: Do not use in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting (this refers to signs of appendicitis or inflamed bowel). Do not take for more than one (1) week. This product may cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Do not take a laxative within 2 hours of taking any other medicine because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced. Taking this product without adequate liquid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause chocking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty swallowing. If you have chest pain, vomiting or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking the product, seek immediate medical attention.
